गणेश की तरह बनें अनुशासित
भगवान गणेश को हाथी का सिर लगाने के पीछे भी अहम कारण है। शिवपुराण में कथा है कि भगवान शिव ने जब बालक गणेश का सिर काट दिया था, तो माता पार्वती ने गहरा विलाप किया था। इस दुख को देख कर शिवजी ने अपने गणों को ऐसे प्राणी का सिर काट कर लाने का आदेश दिया जो उत्तर दिशा की ओर सिर कर सोया हो। गणों को एक हाथी मिला, जो उत्तर दिशा में सिर कर सोया था। यह गज मुख का मिलना मात्र संयोग नहीं, बल्कि बड़ी प्रेरणा है। गजानन होने के बाद ही शिव ने उन्हें गणाधिपति भी बनाया। अपने रूप का मजाक बनाने के लिए भगवान गणेश ने चन्द्रमा को शाप भी दिया था कि जो भी चन्द्रमा को देखेगा वह कलंकित हो जाएगा। बाद में चन्द्रमा के अनुनय विनय के बाद शाप का प्रभाव गणेश चतुर्थी पर सीमित कर दिया गया था। कहा जाता है कि इसी शाप के कारण भगवान कृष्ण को भी गणेश चतुर्थी पर चन्द्रमा देख लेने पर कलंक भोगना पड़ा था। इसके विपरीत गणेशजी हर भक्त की एक प्रार्थना पर विघ्नहरण के लिए पहुँच जाते हैं। क्या हैं सबक प्रथम पूज्य गणेश का गज मुख असल में एक प्रेरणा है। यह कई प्रतीकों को समाहित किए हुए है। हाथी धैर्य और शक्ति का प्रतीक है। वह विपरीत परिस्थितियों में भी अपनी राह बना लेता है। हाथी स्वामी भक्त प्राणियों में से एक है। इतना अनुशासित की कठिन परिस्थितियों में भी अपना धर्म नहीं छोड़ता और स्वामी को अकेला छोड़ कर नहीं भागता। |
